This film is based on the novel by Florence Aubenas «The Wharf of Ouistream». Binoche plays a famous writer. She wants to write a story about difficult working conditions from her own experience. She turned into a cleaning lady and discovered that every dollar at work is very important to life, an invisible level to many sectors of society.
